What about my best clients now? Will I loose them to others on the site?
No. Your best clients can continue to select you as their “preferred appraiser” and all their orders will go only to you and no others in the area.
Can one appraisal company in my area monopolize the system and take all the orders?
No. Each appraisal company is limited to accepting only 2 “open orders” every 24 hours. “Preferred appraiser” options override this restriction for your best clients and allow you to accept limitless orders from them.
What is HomeAppraising.com’s role in the client-to-business relationship?
• The website "HomeAppraising.com" is an advertising/referral site only.
• Involvement in the “order” begins and ends with connecting the prospective client to the appraiser and providing use of a confidential “message board.” From that point forward, the website "HomeAppraising.com" and HomeAppraising Services, LLC has no other participation in the order itself, its completion or the collection of fees.
• The client and the servicing appraiser are solely responsible for providing honest and accurate information, one to the other, and are engaged in a private transaction that is strictly between those two individual parties with no outside parties involved in any way. *See (Terms of Use)
Does HomeAppraising.com receive any additional fees for the appraisal request from the client or the appraisal company engaged to provide the service?
No. There are no hidden fees or costs to any participant in the network.
HomeAppraising.com is not an appraisal management company. Use of our site is as a referral/advertising resource only, connecting clients to service providers in their area. We do not accept or guarantee payment of any orders placed through our website to any outside service provider or client.

How do I know the appraiser who accepted my order is qualified to do the work?
• HomeAppraising.com does not guarantee the accuracy of any information provided by appraisers listing on this network.
• When an appraiser joins this network, they provide basic license and E&O insurance information “at that time” which can be found in their contact information. That information is not independently verified by HomeAppraising.com.
• It is highly recommended that each client ask the appraiser engaged in the service of their request to provide a copy of that appraisers “current” license and Error & Omissions (a.k.a. E&O) insurance coverage.
• The appraiser should have that information readily available to fax and/or email over to the client prior to completion of the report if requested or have it included along with the completed report when it is sent to the client.
• It is the sole responsibility of the client to verify that appraisers “current” license and expertise. Each state Appraisal Board can be contacted to provide that information if necessary.
• If you have questions prior to ordering an appraisal, you may review the appraiser list and contact information of appraisers in that area and get their current license and Errors & Omissions Insurance information prior to engaging their services if not already listed on their contact information.
What if an appraiser does not have a copy of their current license and E&O Insurance to send me?
It is highly recommended that you then terminate the services of that appraiser immediately. A reputable appraisal company should have any such information you request readily available.
Can a trainee utilize the web site?
• Yes. You can utilize all available resources: POST YOUR RESUME and/or SEARCH FOR JOB OPENINGS, and find future on-line CONTINUING EDUCATION classes.
• But you cannot post yourself as a fully licensed or certified appraiser and you cannot accept any appraisal orders unless fully licensed by your state to do so.
Does HomeAppraising.com store any completed appraisal reports?
No. We are not equipped to provide storage of completed reports. We provide a referral service and message board options between customers and service providers only.
What if I have a complaint about an appraiser?
Please read the Terms of Use for this site. Any complaint should be made to that appraisers appropriate state appraisal board in which the appraisal was performed.
